Who is Probably Joel?

My name is Joel Tsui, but I make work under the pseudonym Probably Joel. I am a conceptual artist and my practice explores approaches to storytelling and documentary through a multidisciplinary practice spanning photography, filmmaking, virtual reality, sound design and interactive installations.

After completing my undergraduate studies in New Media at Maine College of Art and a graduate certificate in documentary studies at Salt Institute, I am currently a Master of Fine Arts candidate at Maine College of Art.

In my spare time, I read dark humour memoirs and play the chromatic harmonica.
